If you currently have the field of stars background on your credential, you may not need to show additional information. In order to obtain this designation, applicants must currently be serving in the United States Armed Forces or provide verification of honorable discharge from the United States military (DD Form 214), or provide certification from the United States Veterans Administration or other appropriate branch of the United States Armed Forces verifying the applicant's military service and honorable discharge. This designation is a widely recognized indicator that will assist military personnel in obtaining qualifying benefits.
